Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury

The original dabbing? Things not mentioned in this novel.
So I've read this book before, making it the first technical reread in this blog! (Not including The Grinch because I don't think I ever just sat down and read it, I think it was just read TO me.) I don't remember why I read it, but I know it was during the summer, and I took a very Basic photo while reading it on the beach, which makes a lot of sense if you know me: not a very Beach Book, but read on the beach anyway. I was excited to read this again so I was glad it was on this list. Let's get to it!

Artsy writer pose.
To-date this is still the only thing by Ray Bradbury I've ever written, but I have listened to a very suggestive song about him, so I'm experienced in the genre. Fahrenheit 451 follows Guy Montag, a firefighter who turns rogue, and how his actions set off a war. Books and reading materials are banned in the world he lives in, for some reason he's drawn to it, especially when he meets a young girl by the name of Clarisse, who challenges his "standard" thinking with her more out of the box notions. Eventually everything comes spiraling down, and Montag plays a heavy hand in starting a wave around the pebble he throws into the stream of everyone's thought (I'm sorry.)

Great book size for my tiny hands.
If you want a quick, very influential and thought-provoking read, definitely go for this one. I promise it won't take you as long to read as it took me; I'm just going through some shit.
